Ideas and innovations.

We know a lot, but not everything. ForestX is part of a network of partners and specialists who complement us in our work to digitalize the forestry industry. Industry experts in fields such as artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, together with us, can uncover new opportunities for our customers and their path to increasing the value of their forests.

Build solutions

We analyze the customer's needs, then create the solution. At ForestX, we have project managers, business specialists, system architects, system developers, testers, and designers. New teams are formed based on the customer's needs and the project's requirements. The customer always works in close collaboration with ForestX's local team in Sweden.

Implement and create value.

For IT projects to succeed fully, a strong focus must be placed on implementation and the change management it involves. ForestX works continuously with its customers to clarify and support them throughout this process.

Maintain and further develop.

When new IT systems are in place, most of the work is still ahead. The work of maintaining, managing, and further developing the systems is handled by ForestX in the same way as new projects, with the same focus on innovation and cost-effectiveness. ForestX stays with the customer every step of the way.

We are digitalizing the forest

Our goal is to simplify every step in the forest resource value chain. We create efficient flows, from forest to harvesting, to final product. We do this by digitalizing the forestry industry.

This is how we work.

ForestX starts with the customer’s needs, conditions, and requests. We adapt to where the customer is in the change process, what results are desired, and what resources are available internally at the customer’s organization. In the slideshow to the left, we explain how we work together with our customers to achieve results.

Development and continuous improvement

To be innovative, you must understand the fundamentals. We know forestry and IT. With nearly 60 employees, we have extensive experience in all parts of the forestry industry. Our own development team in India ensures that we can always develop and adapt our solutions while guaranteeing deliveries. Together, this creates the foundation that makes ForestX the leading provider of sustainable and innovative digital solutions for the forestry industry of the future.

Brave customers

Successful innovation work involves knowledgeable and brave customers who are willing to try new things. Together with Sveaskog and our partners, we have developed various ways to work with AI in forestry. In Austria, we further developed our own product, Optinex, in collaboration with Pfeifer to also work in the planning and optimization of laminated timber production.

Product suppliers and change management.

We are always looking for new smart digital solutions. Part of our innovation work involves finding the right product suppliers, which we have found in Trimble Forestry and Remsoft, among others. Innovation also means finding new ways of working. At ForestX, we have extensive knowledge in change processes and change management. Naturally, our experience in the forestry industry is vast here as well.

Sustainability at the forefront in all stages

We all have a great responsibility to manage our shared resources wisely and efficiently. With our systems, business expertise, and ways of working, we provide a solid foundation for the sustainable use of forest resources. With strong digital support and modern approaches, our customers make well-informed decisions with resource usage in focus. We work with our customers over many years and through multiple projects. Through long-term working relationships, we get to know our customers’ operations and businesses, enabling us to work together for sustainable business practices at all levels.
