ForestX is further strengthening its forestry focus in Sweden and at the same time expanding its management team as Robert Johansson joins the company.
Forestry is far from new to Robert Johansson. After many years in senior sales positions at, among others, Imano and Tietoevry, he has worked with most of the major Nordic forestry companies.
– I have seen that customers across all industries are increasingly demanding industry-specific experience. That’s why it’s great to represent ForestX, which truly understands the customer’s business. Here we combine deep industry knowledge with technical expertise, says Robert, and continues:
– ForestX has products that are designed for the industry. A lot of knowledge is built into the products. This makes us relevant when meeting customers, and there are good opportunities to be a strategic partner and supplier.
Robert Johansson will be responsible for ForestX’s Swedish forestry clients, and his current focus is to get out and meet the forestry companies.
– This fall I will be visiting customers and learning more about their needs and what they see ahead, says Robert Johansson.
Robert Johansson will be based at ForestX’s headquarters in Gothenburg, working closely with Marketing Manager Christer Lindqvist.
– I am pleased that Robert is now part of our sales team. This is a reinforcement for the Swedish market, and together we will be there for our existing and new customers, says Christer Lindqvist, Marketing Manager at ForestX.
There will also be opportunities to meet both Robert Johansson and Christer Lindqvist at the breakfast meetings that ForestX will hold together with Trimble Forestry in Falun and Växjö, as well as digitally, during the autumn.
Fully focusing on the forestry industry and working towards increased digitalization in the sector appeals to Robert Johansson on several levels:
– It is an important industry for Sweden. There is also strong societal engagement around the forest, for example through the many forest owners. One can feel proud to work in an industry that is part of the solution to future challenges.
