ForestX acquires timber measurement products from Dalgas – strengthening its commitment to the digitalization of European forestry
ForestX has acquired the LogStackPro and LogStackLIDAR products from the Danish company Dalgas.
LogStackPRO and LogStackLIDAR are two digital measurement solutions for forest raw materials and timber stacks in the forestry and wood industry. LogStack products are currently used in Denmark, Germany, Hungary, and Poland. Over 2.5 million cubic meters of timber are measured annually by the products, a figure that is constantly rising. The products provide better control over volumes, quality, and logistics in the forestry value chain.

Strategic step for ForestX’s expansion in Europe
The acquisition strengthens ForestX’s offering in the European market. ForestX currently has employees in Germany and Italy/Austria and is leading several ongoing digitization projects for well-known European sawmill groups.

Dalgas will continue to have a close relationship with ForestX and its products, including as a user and through continued collaboration on development.

No change for existing LogStack customers
The acquisition means that ForestX will take over the business, including staff, and overall responsibility for further development, operation, and continued commercialization of the products. For existing LogStack customers, the takeover will not mean any change in daily use. Support, functionality, and data will not be affected, while ForestX plans to invest in further development, integrations, and new features in the long term.
