Position Overview
As a Manual Software Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. You will be responsible for designing and executing manual test cases, identifying defects, and working closely with the development team to ensure timely and effective resolution. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining the high standards of our software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on project specifications.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Provide clear and concise reports on test results and defect status to team and management.
- Participate in requirements and design reviews to provide input on testability and quality aspects.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4-6 years of experience as a Manual Software Tester or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficiency in creating test cases, test scenarios, and test data sets.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira etc.)
- Solid knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing phases.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders at various levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ISTQB or other relevant certifications.
- Automation test case writing experience.
- Experience with CI / CD pipelines.
- Experience with automation testing tools and techniques
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell scripting, etc.)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
